Joe Mitchell

Prior to Danfoss, Mr. Mitchell was President and CEO of UQM Technologies from July 2015 to July 2019. He joined UQM in 2012 as Vice President of Operations and led all manufacturing, quality and purchasing functions.
Previous to joining UQM, Mr. Mitchell was Director of Operations and Quality for Continental Automotive’s North American Hybrid and Electric Drive business unit, where he led all North American manufacturing, advanced manufacturing strategy, planning and global sourcing for the hybrid electric drive business unit. His previous experience also includes senior management positions at Siemens VDO, Ballard Power Systems. Prior to that, Mr. Mitchell held a series of manufacturing and quality management positions at Ford Motor Company.

Jon Walker
Sustainability Policy Manager, Lyft
Prior to Lyft, Jon was a manager at Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) in Colorado where he ran RMI’s autonomous and electric vehicles program. In this role, RMI partnered with several cities, including Denver and Austin, to deploy shared electric vehicles and to pave the way for autonomous vehicles and automated mobility services. Jon also co-authored Peak Car Ownership – The Market Opportunity of Electric Automated Mobility Services , which projects that mobility services like Lyft, performed by electric, autonomous vehicles, will overtake personally-owned vehicles in market share in the next decade.
